The Moisture Meter board measures moisture. It is designed to measure soil moisture and leaf wetness in the garden. This enables you to establish a watering schedule based on the actual moisture conditions of your plants. The leaf wetness sensor can be used for the prevention of fungus and disease. Some weather-watchers also use the leaf wetness sensor to measure dew.

The Moisture Meter must be used with a moisture sensor like the Leaf Wetness Sensor or Gypsum Soil Sensor. Other commercial sensors should work fine but have not been tested. This device uses screw terminals to connect to the 1-wire network, and requires power of 9-24 volts DC. This is a fully assembled and tested unit.
