This device allows you to measure humidity. These units can be used to monitor environmental conditions, both indoors and out, and are an essential part of your total weather station. You may wish to install these in multiple indoor locations, to monitor conditions throughout your home (eg. bathroom, kitchen, living areas). As a part of a total home automation system, humidity can be a trigger for events such as turning on fans, or controlling zoned heating and cooling.

This is a fully assembled and tested unit. This device comes with dual RJ45 connectors, as well as screw terminals, for easy connection to your 1-wire network. This device can optionally use external power of 9-24 volts DC. Either our Power Injector or our 6 Channel Hub would provide the needed power.

We now use the HIH-4021 humidity sensor which has a cover for better sunlight resistance and a condensation filter to help keep the sensor from getting wet from condensation.

(Note that the product image shown is of the Humidity/Temperature/Solar device. The Humidity device looks almost identical, but will be missing the parts specific to Temperature and Solar Radiation detection.)
