Typically, 1-wire networks require a daisy-chain topology, with the master controller connecting to all devices in series. A hub allows you to connect multiple devices (or chains of devices) to a master controller using a star topology, giving you greater flexibility in how you lay out your 1-wire network. This 6 channel hub allows up to six different channels. There is also a 1-wire pass-through, which connects the Master Controller and one additional branch. All connectors on the hub are RJ45 connectors. The hub also optionally acts as a power injector for the 1-wire circuits. This is a fully assembled and tested unit.

A power supply is required by the hub. You can use our Universal AC Adaptor (not included), or you can provide your own. The power supply must provide between 9-24 volt DC on a 2.1mm center-pin positive connector. (Note that if you use our barometer, you will need an adaptor that outputs at least 15 volts.)
