The serial adaptor connects your 1-Wire network to your computer. This, or something comparable, will be required in order to run your 1-Wire network. It has an RJ12 standard telephone connector for connecting to your 1-Wire network, and a 9-pin serial connector for attaching to your computer. We offer an adaptor cable, shown below, to facilitate connection between the RJ12 connector and an RJ45 1-Wire network.

You will need a computer with a serial port in order to use this adapter. You will also need software that supports 1-Wire devices.
