This is the circuit board plus all parts needed for you to assemble the Lightning Detector. This board primarily uses surface mount components. Please see the product description of the fully assembled Lightning Detector for more information.

The Lightning Detector board uses the DS2423P 1-wire chip to count lightning strikes through an opto coupled antenna. It is based on a design by Tim Bitson.
