The LCD Driver is used to connect character LCDs to the 1-Wire network. It supports LCDs up to 20 x 4 or 40 x 2, that use the industry standard HD44780 controller and have a compatible single row pin out. It also includes support for 3 buttons. This is a fully assembled and tested unit, but does not include the LCD itself.

The Java file below gives an example of how to interface with the LCD Driver. This device has RJ45 (standard network) connectors for connection to your 1-Wire network. If using a backlit LCD, a power supply is required. You can use our Universal AC Adaptor (not included), or you can provide your own. The power supply must provide between 9-24 volt DC on a 2.1mm center-pin positive connector.
